First, the cold pressing process: the bonding agent used is a wetting agent and a powdery resin, usually used as a wetting agent, such as liquid phenolic resin, furfural, decyl alcohol, cresol, etc., the most used is liquid phenolic resin.
Second, the semi-hot pressing process: the pressing temperature is generally 50-65 ° C, the viscosity of the liquid resin becomes smaller at this pressing temperature, and the powdery resin can be well integrated, so that the fluidity of the entire resin system is improved. It is easier to penetrate all the spaces, even if the pressure of the press is not too high, it can be molded well, and the holding time does not need to be too long. It is especially suitable for the automatic pressing production line for continuous operation.
Third, the hot pressing process: mixing requirements and cold pressing process is different, generally using dry mixing method, or less than 1% of the weight of the abrasive as a wetting agent wet abrasive, and then evenly mixed with powdered resin.
